NFL Power Rankings for Week 10 - Around the Web

NFL power rankings for Week 10 from sources around the web. Are Minnesota and Miami both underrated after Week 9?

Here's a look at what the other publications are thinking when it comes to NFL Power Rankings heading into Week 10. In a development that should come as no surprise, all of ESPN, CBS, and NFL.com have listed their top team in the NFL Power Rankings as the Philadelphia Eagles. The Eagles have been the only undefeated team in the NFL for ages but it took a second Buffalo loss for the Bills to fall.

The glaring omission in the power rankings this week comes with NFL.com and Dan Hanzus. The Minnesota Vikings are 7-1 on the season but are not included in the top five for NFL.com's power rankings. Power rankings are never about just listed the teams by record, however, a wins-first approach is still required for making a credible list. Hanzus has the 6-3 Ravens ahead of the Vikings and the 4-4 San Francisco 49ers. Minnesota is ranked 7th place with the site.

What's interesting about the power rankings for all three sites is that no one seems to have noticed the Miami Dolphins. Miami is 6-3 with wins this season over each of Baltimore and Buffalo. Their only losses came in games where their QB1 didn't start or didn't take all the snaps. The Dolphins are as low as 12th in the three publications looked at above (NFL.com). If Tua Tagovailoa continues to play as he has been playing, then Miami is only a little ways away from being the favorite in their conference.
