The first edition of the injury report for this game came on Monday. There will be updates on Tuesday and Wednesday following practices on those days. This is a short week for each team. They each played on Sunday and will both be dealing with short rest before Thursday's game. The Lions are the ones that have the better injury report at the start of the week.
Detroit is almost at full health for their active roster. They listed just four players on their injury report but only one player, guard Jonah Jackson, was DNP. He has a wrist injury as of Monday's update. The other three players were FP on the report, meaning that they were full participants in Monday's practice. Generally, if you are FP at the start of the week, you will be active at game time.
The Packers have a lot of names on their half of the report. Sixteen players appeared on it including Aaron Jones and Christian Watson. Furthermore, all of the players were either LP or DNP on Monday. The Packers have so many question marks in their active roster that it is hard to picture that they are going to have a regular week for practice. In fact, they've never been all that convincing of a team at the best of times with their 4-6 record, which does not include a single win of note.

At -7.5, the Detroit Lions could definitely be taken (-110) (bet365). Keeping in mind that the Lions beat the Packers 34-20 when they met earlier this season, the upcoming game does have some double-digit spread potential. Furthermore, when the Lions beat the Packers earlier this season, that was in a game that Green Bay hosted. It certainly will not be easy for Green Bay to stay close to Detroit in this game and the short week really hurts the more-injured team -- which is GB by a wide margin.
