NFL Week 12 Monday Night Football Betting Tips: Chicago Bears vs Minnesota Vikings

The Monday Night Football game to end Week 13 will be the Bears vs Vikings. The Bears are underdogs but only at +3.0 heading into this game. The injury report for this game had Justin Jefferson as questionable after Saturday's practice. Meanwhile, the Bears have a pretty clear depth chart for injuries among starters, a good spot to be in as their bye week looms next week.

But Minnesota has gone 6-2 in their last eight games to emerge as a relevant team at this stage of the season.

With Joshua Dobbs now at the helm for Minnesota it feels like anything is possible in this contest. Expect the Bears to cover with the help of their handicap of +3.0, noting some improvements over the last two months.

One of the bigger showdowns of the week is the Buffalo Bills vs Philadelphia Eagles game. However, this is also a game that could be disappointing. The Cleveland Browns remain in the mix for the playoffs despite losing their QB1 for the season. They are 7-3 thanks, in part, to a victory last week that was a bit surprising. However, heading into Week 12, the Browns have a huge injury report. The team listed seventeen names on the report throughout the week. They included Myles Garrett on the report with an ankle concern. However, he and several other Cleveland Browns were FP on Friday. There certainly is some shock value in seeing the length of the report. However, there also appeared to be plenty of fluff on it.

The Denver Broncos did not have many injured players this week. Although they listed nine players on their half of the report, a lot of them were in good shape by Friday.

This is a game that will test believers on each side. The Browns are down their QB1 but they are clearly not out of the mix, not with the kind of defense that they are capable of playing. Tua Tagovailo did not have a good game statistically on Friday. However, his Miami Dolphins prevailed in a game where Miami had a very good ground attack that included two touchdowns for 94 yards.

A two-interception day will almost always be forgettable one for a quarterback. This performance could hurt Tagovailoa a bit in the MVP talk. However, Miami is now 8-3 as the business end of the season approaches.

The New York Jets have faded in recent weeks. They enter this week at just 4-6 and with playoff aspirations that are starting to fade. Furthermore, the Jets have jumped the proverbial shark in their QB position. They relegated former starter Zach Wilson to the QB3 position and will go with Tim Boyle in their upcoming game against the Miami Dolphins.

The Dolphins themselves have a lot of injury problems. They might be in tough in trying to cover a big spread. However, the OVER/UNDER for total points has been set at just 41.0 with bet365 and that looks like a small total still. NFL fans will note that the upcoming game is a Friday game as there is irregular scheduling this week.
