The Sunday Night Football game in Week 12 is an important one. The Baltimore Ravens, who are 8-3 on the season, will face the LA Chargers on November 26th, 2023 (8:20 PM ET/5:20 PM PT). The Chargers are just 4-6 in the current NFL season and would be facing a daunting task to make the 2024 NFL playoffs should they lose on Sunday. There certainly is some hope for the team as they enter Week 12 as just small underdogs in the game at +3.0 (bet365). The Ravens vs Chargers injury report favors the Chargers due to some concerns with Baltimore's receivers. However, I'm still going with Baltimore to win this game on Sunday night.

These two teams combined for a moderately long injury report this week. Firstly, let's take a look at the Baltimore side.

The Ravens listed 12 players on their half of the report throughout the week. As of Friday's update after practice, there were nine players who were either out, questionable, or doubtful. Mark Andrews, the team's starting tight end, is out for this game. Meanwhile, top receiver Odell Beckham Jr. is questionable with a shoulder injury. There's also an injury with another wide receiver, Zay Flowers, who is also questionable. Marlon Humphrey and Ronnie Stanley have been on a lot of injury reports this season and they are each questionable for the upcoming game. It certainly wasn't a great report out of the Baltimore side but let's take a look at the LA Chargers.

The Chargers had 11 players on their half of the report. They did list starting QB Justin Herbert on the report all week with a left-finger injury. However, he was a full participant in practice for all three days of reporting. The injury affects his non-throwing hand but anytime a QB1 is injured, bettors have to note it. In this case, the injury should be taken lightly.

The Chargers have two questionable receivers as of early Saturday, Jalen Guyton and Gerald Everett. However, overall it's not that bad of an injury report out of LA.

Ravens vs Chargers Injury Report: Betting Tips

The Chargers have not defeated a team as talented as the Baltimore Ravens all season. With just +3.0 for handicap points, you have to be skeptical of LAC (bet365). They are a team that seems to come up short whenever a big play is needed.

For teams that you might compare to Baltimore, LA's games against Detroit, KC, and Miami could be looked at. In total, they went -19 on net point differential against these three teams, including two home losses. LA's only wins this season have come against the Jets, the Bears, the Raiders, and the Vikings. In regard to the latter teams, the wins were early in the season, meaning prior to improved play out of those camps. LA might stay close but Baltimore should have the goods in the clutch for this game.

Ravens vs Chargers Prediction: Betting Tips

Baltimore is 8-3 so far this season. Right there you can start to see value in taking them on a moneyline of -165. They are also 3-1 on the road with a 28-3 victory at Cleveland this season as a result worth noting. They have won five of six games heading into Week 12 going +92 on point differential during this stretch. My recommendation is to take Baltimore to win at -165.

For a player prop in the Baltimore Ravens vs LA Chargers NFL Week 12 game, bettors should be looking at running back Gus Edwards. There are injury concerns in the receivers for Baltimore which might increase rushing attempts for this game. Edwards has scored a ton of touchdowns lately as well, making him a good fantasy pick. In his first six games this season, he had just one TD but he has had nine touchdowns in his last five games, including three games with multiple TDs.

He is +105 in the Anytime TD Scorers market with bet365. That doesn't seem right based on his red-zone usage. Edwards is currently third in the league in touchdowns, tied with Tyreek Hill and behind only Christian McCaffrey and Raheem Mostert.
