The player on top of the NFL Rushing Yards Leaders board is Nick Chubb heading into Week 8. Chubb's Cleveland Browns are in all sorts of trouble this season as they have started just 2-5. However, Chubb has 740 yards on the campaign and that's good enough for first place in the league. Chubb is also the betting favorite to lead the NFL in rushing yards this season. At this point in the season, it's important to note who has the game at hand. For instance, both Chubb and Barkley have played the full seven games (one for each week) at this point in the season. However, Jacobs, Henry, and Sanders have all had bye weeks. That means that they have one more game in their schedule for the balance of the season. In the NFL, where there are only 17 games per team in a regular season, an extra game can count for a lot.
Jacobs finished 2nd for rushing yards in Week 7 with 143. The player that finished first was Kenneth Walker III, however, he is still not close to the leaders due to under-usage in the early weeks. We will have a betting recommendation for this market after Monday night football.
