This is the page for our live NFL Power Rankings. Most of the results for Week 7 are complete and they have changed our Live Top Ten NFL Power Rankings. These are power rankings that are updated with each result as opposed to waiting until the end of the week. However, after the Monday night game, these live rankings will become our Week 8 Top Ten NFL Power Rankings and they will remain static until Thursday night football starters. There were some interesting results on Sunday in Week 7 so make sure you have a look at what's new in our list.

Building Our Week 8 Top Ten NFL Power Rankings (LIVE Power Rankings)

After Week 4, the San Francisco 49ers became our new No. 1 team. However, the 49ers suffered a shocking loss in Week 6. They were in Cleveland and up against the Browns' QB3, PJ Walker. The Browns shocked the league with a 19-17 victory, a game which basically ended when Jake Moody, San Francisco's placekicker, missed a field goal in the waning seconds from 41 yards -- one that he probably should have made.

Our new No. 1 after Week 6 became the Detroit Lions. However, becoming No. 1 can be a storm crow. Detroit lost big in Week 7 and that will see them crashing down a little. Philadelphia became our No. 1 again midweek. It seems that the Eagles and the Dolphins will be battling it on Sunday night for the top spot.

The rankings below are updated following all the results from Week 7.

  1. Philadelphia Eagles: 6-1 (beat the Dolphins 31-17 in Week 7)
  2. Kansas City Chiefs: 6-1 (beat the LA Rams 31-17 in Week 7)
  3. San Francisco 49ers: 5-2 (lost to the Vikings 22-17 in Week 7)
  4. Miami Dolphins: 5-2 (lost to the Eagles 31-17 in Week 7)
  5. Baltimore Ravens: 5-2 (beat the Detroit Lions 38-6 in Week 7)
  6. Jacksonville Jaguars: 5-2 (beat the New Orleans Saints 31-24 in Week 7)
  7. Detroit Lions: 5-2 (lost to the Baltimore Ravens 38-6 in Week 7)
  8. Dallas Cowboys: 4-2 (beat LA Chargers 20-17 in Week 6)
  9. Seattle Seahawks: 4-2 (beat Arizona 20-10 in Week 7)
  10. Cleveland Browns: 4-2 (beat the Colts 39-38 in Week 7)

Bubble teams: NFL Week 8 Power Rankings

The Buffalo Bills are 4-3. They have a quality win over the Miami Dolphins, one that involved a large spread in Buffalo's favor. However, three losses this season hurt this team's reputation. They do NOT look like Super Bowl contenders. In Week 7, they lost to the New England Patriots, a team that has struggled so far this season. When you are 4-3 with a questionable loss, then you are a bubble team for the Top Ten, even if there are some other results in your favor.

  • Buffalo Bills: 4-3 (lost to New England 29-25 in Week 7)

Who would the worst teams be in the NFL?

For the worst team in the NFL, you would have to go with the Carolina Panthers at this point. They were 0-6 on the season heading into Week 7. Following Chicago's victory in Week 5, they are the only team without a win. Chicago also won in Week 7 so they have two wins on top of Carolina at the bottom of the NFL. At this point, the Panthers are clearly the worst team in the league.
