The Seattle Seahawks Week 4 result is in. The Seahawks defeated the Detroit Lions in a very high-scoring game. The final was Seattle 48, Detroit 45. With the result, the Seahawks get to 2-2 on the season while the Lions fall to 1-3.
Betting Recap: 2-1 with an underdog hit
In this game, we felt that the total points would be UNDER 48.0. That was a huge miss as the Seahawks tied that total without even looking at Detroit's 45 points.
However, our other two recommendations both cashed. Firstly, we thought that Jamaal Williams would have a big game. He rushed for 108 yards, loads more than his OVER/UNDER total of 63.5 rushing yards.
Secondly, we thought that Seattle had a chance to cover an adjusted spread in the game. We recommended them at -2.5 and odds of 2 to 1 for a nice hit. With that result, a 2-1 betting tip record for the game doesn't tell the full story as the +200 hit really erases the OVER/UNDER miss.

Rashad Penny and Geno Smith had huge games for Seattle. The former rushed for 151 yards in the contest. Meanwhile, Smith connected for two touchdowns and he kept the sheet clean for interceptions. He finished the game with a 132.6 passer rating.
DK Metcalf also had a break-out game for the season. He received for 149 yards in the contest, more yards than he had in the three previous games combined.
Next up for Seattle is a game versus the New Orleans Saints. The Lions will face the New England Patriots in Week 5.
