Another week is gone in the NFL 2023 season and as always, it is time to check out the best individual performances of the week. Without further ado, let’s meet our NFL Players of the Week 12. Just a reminder that six players are nominated every week, being one offensive, one defensive and one special teams player for each conference.

Offense
Patrick Mahomes, QB, Kansas City Chiefs
He’s back. At least in this weekly list. Patrick Mahomes helped a lot the Kansas City Chiefs beat the Las Vegas Raiders with another great performance. He completed 79.4% of the passes, for 298 yards and two touchdowns.
Defense
Josh Allen, LB, Jacksonville Jaguars
The Jacksonville Jaguars beat the Houston Texans with a great defensive performance. And Josh Allen was one of the reasons for that. He had five tackles in the game, including two for loss and 2.5 sacks.
Special Teams
Ryan Stonehouse, P, Tennessee Titans
The Tennessee Titans won a game again. And one of the reasons for that was field positioning. The Panthers have a bad offense and Stonehouse only gave them bad field opportunities. In seven punts, he had five inside the 20-yard line and two touchbacks. He also averaged 53.7 yards per punt.

Offense
Kyren Williams, RB, Los Angeles Rams
As the Rams beat the Cardinals this week, the running back had simply 204 scrimmage yards. He totalled 143 yards in 16 carries and 61 yards in six receptions. In addition, he had two receiving touchdowns.
Defense
Jessie Bates III, S, Atlanta Falcons
Another player on the list with a great performance in a divisional matchup was Bates. He had 12 tackles and one forced fumble in the game vs. the Saints. But besides that, he helped with a 92-yard pick-6, scoring a wonderful touchdown.
Special Teams
Jake Elliott, K, Philadelphia Eagles
Closing this week’s list, the man who avoided the Eagles' second loss of the week. He had seven points in the game. It was four extra points converted and one field goal. The field goal was a 59-yarder to force overtime in the rain.
