In a terrible game from Philadelphia, Boston won the game by 34 points and tied the series in 1-1
The Game 2 between Boston Celtics and Philadelphia 76ers was atypical. Not because of the 34 points differential in the final score, but also because of the poor performance of most stars in this game. But in the end, the Celtics beat the 76ers in Game 2 and even the series 1-1.
With a final score of 121-87 for the Celtics, the most curious fact was the complete underperformance from Jayson Tatum. He only played 19 minutes and scored seven points. On the 76ers’ side, Joel Embiid was back but also had a way below-average game, with only 15 points and three rebounds.
Other than the bad individual numbers from some players, Philadelphia was a complete disaster last night. Scoring only 87 points, they lost their first game in this NBA Playoffs. A lot of important players left the game in the end after the blowout and some backups had the opportunity to play a little. But in the end, the Celtics beat the 76ers in Game 2.
With a lot of star players underperforming last night it is hard to find great performances. In the Celtics’ side, we had two players scoring 20+ points and this was the best we got from the game. On the other side, James Harden had a double-double for the 76ers. Check out the numbers from the game.
With basically all players having such a bad individual performance, we missed most of our predictions. But we still got some right. Check out the outcome of our picks from last night’s game.
