Stefon Diggs - Best Bet for Most Receiving Yards

Who will have the most receiving yards in the NFL at the end of the season? Stefon Diggs and Tyreek Hill are candidates.

Who will receive for the most yards in 2022/23 in the NFL? If you asked that question preseason, a lot of fans might have answered with Davante Adams.

However, Adams is off to a horrifically slow start that included 2 catches on 7 targets in Week 2. The Las Vegas Raiders' wide receiver is priced at 11 to 1 to lead the NFL but, quite simply, maybe the move to Vegas wasn't a good move for his totals. That makes perfect sense since Aaron Rodgers is a much better QB than Derek Carr.

Stefon Diggs tipped to lead NFL in receiving

Bettors looking for a recommendation in this market should examine Stefon Diggs of the Buffalo Bills. Diggs is priced at 8 to 1 in the Most Regular Season Receiving Yards market with bet365. That makes him the third favorite behind both Justin Jefferson (9 to 2) and Cooper Kupp (6 to 1). First, we could examine what's wrong with taking one of these other guys.

The problem with Jefferson is that Minnesota wasn't able to get him the ball in Week 2 as they did in Week 1. Jefferson was the statistical leader for receiving yards in Week 1 and all that did was draw a lot of attention his way from defenders. A candidate to lead the league in receiving yards will always draw plenty of attention his way. However, the person that wins the award will draw the attention and still persevere.

Jefferson was one of our player-prop tips last week when we felt he would receive for UNDER 93.5 yards. It was a line that hit safely. The way things look, Minnesota doesn't quite have the entire offensive package that will help Jefferson out. He probably is heading toward a Top 5 finish but not the very top.

Kupp is dangerous but...

Cooper Kupp has hands like glue. If someone took him at 6 to 1, it wouldn't be a terrible bet. However, at least in taking Stefon Diggs you get the better odds and you get a little bit of a lead. Diggs is +34 relative to Kupp heading into Week 3 and better for betting odds. Call Diggs a math pick over Kupp.

The outright leader in receiving yards right now is Tyreek Hill of the Miami Dolphins. He has 284 receiving yards on the season thus far. If Tua Tagovailoa is as good as he looks, then Hill looks like a value pick right now at 9 to 1 as well.

NFL Most Receiving Yards Recommendations:

That leads us to our recommendations, which is basically to oppose Kupp, Adams, and Jefferson with Hill and Diggs. They are off to great starts and their odds are long.

  • Stefon Diggs at 8 to 1 to lead the league in receiving yards
  • Tyreek Hill at 9 to 1 to lead the league in receiving yards
