New Orleans Saints vs Arizona Cardinals Odds - NFL Week 7

NFL Week 7: Saints vs Cardinals betting recommendation. The Saints are hurt in the QB position as per the early-week reports.

The Arizona Cardinals look like a pretty clear early-week pick to win the opening game of NFL Week 7. The Cards will host the New Orleans Saints and the latter is really banged up according to their post-Monday injury report. Our Saints vs Cardinals betting tip is an early-week recommendation with updates pending as game-day nears.

Firstly, both of the Saints' QBs are statused as questionable and they were each limited on Monday in practice. That was expected out of Jameis Winston, who has not played since September 25th. Winston is listed as LP for Monday with back and ankle problems. Meanwhile, Dalton, the team's QB2, was limited due to a back problem.

Either or both of the players could see their status improve after the upcoming practices on Tuesday and/or Wednesday. However, it is always a short week for teams that play in the Thursday night games, and that shortens the amount of time for recovery.

Michael Thomas, Jarvis Landry, and Marshon Lattimore all appeared on Monday's injury report as well. Each player is listed as DNP still (did not participate). Thomas and Landry have already missed games so it looks like the Saints will remain lean for receivers in Week 7.

The Cardinals would be a good pick for the game even if Dalton and/or Winston improved to full participants. In their home games so far this season, they have faced very tough teams in Kansas City, LAC, and Philadelphia. Two of the three games were one-possession losses. They've drawn their first weak team as hosts and should be confident, especially since the Saints are unproven on the road.
