Bulls vs Raptors NBA betting preview (February 28th, 2023). The Chicago Bulls are +5.0 (bet365) on Tuesday.
The Chicago Bulls, who have played well since coming back from the All-Star break, will face the Toronto Raptors on Tuesday, February 28th, 2023. The Raptors, a team that is also in good form, will host the game with a start time of 7:30 PM ET.
This is an important game for two bubble teams in the Eastern Conference. The Bulls are heading into the game as underdogs, with the spread set at +5.0 (bet365). Based on what we’ve seen out of the team lately, +5.0 could go a long way for Chicago.
The Chicago Bulls will enter the game with an overall record of 28-33 on the season. In their last two games, they have posted huge spreads: winning one game by 44 points and the next by 20. They weren’t so hot heading into the break, however, this is a different team now than what we’ve seen at other points in the season. Both the break and the addition of Patrick Beverley seem to have helped the team.
The Toronto Raptors are 30-32 on the season. They have a clean injury report heading into this game but then so does Chicago, so long as you don’t count the old injuries, like to Lonzo Ball. The Raptors have had three games since the break and are 2-1 on the moneyline. If you applied a -5.0 handicap to those results, then they would be 0-2-1 in the games.
Accordingly, the Bulls look like the clear betting value in this game. Bettors can dabble on the moneyline but +5.0 looks huge in a game where the Bulls might be considered -1.5 for a true spread.
