Only six games in tonight’s slate but with some huge implications in the play-in tournament qualification
One more day in the greatest basketball league in the world. The NBA continues tonight with another six games, two less than last night’s slate. Both #2 seeds will play tonight as well as interesting matchups with play-in implications. It is time for the NBA Tuesday preview brought to you by ThePicks.
Opening our NBA Tuesday preview we have the Boston Celtics, already in the playoffs, visiting the Washington Wizards as they are still trying for a spot in the play-in tournament. The visitors won their last three games and want the fourth in a row tonight, and for that, they are favourites by 11.5 points.
This matchup has serious play-in implications as East’s #7 and #9 seeds face off against each other. The Raptors, currently #9, play at home and need to keep winning or they will be at risk. The visitors want to come back to the W column to clinch their spot in the post season ASAP. The home team is the favourite, by 4 points.
Closing our preview we have a similar situation in the West. Except here it is #7 (Warriors) vs. #8 (Pelicans). The home team lost their last game and the visitors are coming from a great five-win sequence, and they want the sixth. However, the Warriors are favourites by 8.5 points.
