Week 7 NFL Power Rankings - Buffalo Bills tops

Week 7 NFL Power Rankings: the Buffalo Bills will remain on top of our NFL Power Rankings following their win over the KC Chiefs.

The Monday night game is over and so ends Week 6 in the NFL. The Los Angeles Chargers defeated the Denver Broncos 19-16. That didn't really change the complexion of our Top Ten NFL Power Rankings, however, other results did. We moved the New York Giants up in Week 7 as well as the New York Jets. Meanwhile, we dropped down the Baltimore Ravens. Below is our Top Ten NFL Power Rankings heading into Week 7.

Top Ten NFL Power Rankings for Week 7

  1. Buffalo Bills 5-1
  2. Philadelphia Eagles 6-0
  3. New York Giants 5-1
  4. Minnesota Vikings 5-1
  5. Kansas City Chiefs 4-2
  6. Dallas Cowboys 4-2
  7. New York Jets 4-2
  8. Los Angeles Chargers 4-2
  9. Cincinnati Bengals 3-3
  10. Baltimore Ravens 3-3

The Bills were our top team heading into Week 6 and Philly was our No. 2. The Bills defeated the KC Chiefs in Week 6, a game that the Chiefs hosted. That was a more impressive result than what Philadelphia achieved in the week, a 9-point win hosting Dallas and their backup quarterback. The Miami Dolphins, who were our No. 1 team three weeks ago, remain the only team that has defeated the Bills.

Looking ahead, both Buffalo and Philadelphia will enjoy bye weeks in Week 7. That means that there's little potential for anything to change in our power rankings at the very top. Furthermore, there isn't a huge showdown in Week 7, meaning the top teams that are playing will be trying to avoid upsets.
