The New York Giants are re-signing their WR Darius Slayton on a two-year, $12 million deal. Please, do not mix up the names with Eagles CB Darius Slay.
Speaking of him, we said yesterday (16) that the Eagles were releasing Darius Slay. Turns out that they re-signed him on a two-year extension with a contract worth $42 million. Please, do not mix up the names with Giants WR Darius Slayton.
As we brought here earlier today, the Indianapolis Colts are signing QB Gardner Minshew on a one-year, $3.5 million contract.
Another great addition to Chicago Bear’s offense during this free agency. They are signing TE Robert Tonyan, former Green Bay Packers, on a one-year contract.
And they don’t stop. The Chicago Bears are also signing RB D’onta Foreman, former Carolina Panthers, on a one-year, $3 million deal.
After losing TE Jonnu Smith to the Atlanta Falcons, the New England Patriots are signing a former rival. TE Mike Gesicki is leaving the Dolphins and signing with AFC East rivals Patriots on a one-year, $9 million deal.
Another piece of news you already saw here. QB Marcus Mariota is signing a one-year, $5 million contract with the Philadelphia Eagles.
The Seattle Seahawks are adding some new faces to their pass rush. The franchise is acquiring LB Devin Bush from the Pittsburgh Steelers on a one-year, $2.25 million contract.
After releasing Ezekiel Elliott, the Dallas Cowboys are re-signing their backup quarterback Cooper Rush for another two years, with a $6 million contract.
Speaking of releasing important players, the Buffalo Bills are releasing WR Isaiah McKenzie to open space on the salary cap.
Another team releasing players is the New England Patriots, who let CB Jalen Mills go after two years with the team.
Wrapping up today’s list we have only the confirmation of some old news. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers released RB Leonard Fournette.
