After a disappointing season in Indianapolis, the Colts are releasing veteran QB Matt Ryan, who is now a free agent.
After a reasonable season being New Orleans Saints’ QB1, Andy Dalton is staying in the NFC South. He reached an agreement with the Carolina Panthers and will play for the team, probably as a backup for a young drafted QB. They signed a one-year, $10 million deal.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have their bet to be Tom Brady’s successor. QB Baker Mayfield is signing a one-year, $8.5 million contract with the franchise.
After losing Taylor Heinicke to the Falcons, the Washington Commanders are signing former Cleveland Browns QB Jacoby Brissett on a one-year, $10 million deal.
The Chicago Bears traded the no. 1 overall pick with the Carolina Panthers. They got WR D.J. Moore on the deal, but now they are also signing QB P.J. Walker to be Justin Fields’ backup.
A great sign by the Patriots. New England reached an agreement with WR JuJu Smith-Schuster, who won Super Bowl LVII with the Kansas City Chiefs. The contract is worth $33 million over three seasons.
WR Braxton Berrios is staying in the AFC East. As we brought here before, the New York Jets released him and now he is signing a one-year deal with Miami.
Another team signing a new WR for one year is the New York Giants. The franchise reached an agreement with Parris Campbell, former Indianapolis Colts.
The Cincinnati Bengals are signing a Super Bowl champion OT. Orlando Brown is leaving the Kansas City Chiefs and joining the Bengals on a four-year, $64 million contract.
The Cleveland Browns are losins one of their pass rush weapons as they decide to release DE Jadeveon Clowney to open space in the salary cap.
If the Browns are releasing a pass rush, the Steelers are re-signing one. DT Larry Ogunjobi signed a three-year, $28 million extension.
Another team keeping their pass rusher is the Philadelphia Eagles. They are re-signing DT Fletcher Cox on a one-year, $10 million deal.
