Quarterbacks trades in the NFL

Check out a sum of all the moves in the league regarding quarterbacks in this last day before free agency

The NFL trades are going crazy these last couple of days. Since last week teams have been signing, releasing, acquiring and trading players all over the league. It’s been a lot of moves to keep track of everything, so now ThePicks is bringing a small report of all quarterbacks' trades in the NFL these past few days. Later we will have other reports for other positions but we are starting off with the most important position in the sport.

Derek Carr, Saints

We brought a couple of weeks ago the breaking news that Derek Carr signed with the New Orleans Saints. It was a four-year $150 million contract.

Daniel Jones, Giants

The New York Giants extended Daniel Jones’ contract for another four years, with a $160 million deal.

Geno Smith, Seahawks

The Seattle Seahawks re-signed QB Geno Smith to remain as their quarterback for next season. The new contract is worth $105 million in three years.

Jimmy Garoppolo, Raiders

Yesterday we brought the news that Jimmy Garoppolo is going to the Las Vegas Raiders. He will sign a three-year $75 million contract.

Jarrett Stidham, Broncos

The Las Vegas Raiders also traded away their QB2, Jarrett Stidham. He is expected to sign a two-year $10 million deal in Denver.

Mike White, Dolphins

The Miami Dolphins are signing Mike White, former Jets QB. They agreed on a two-year deal to move teams inside the AFC East.

Sam Darnold, 49ers

After getting the no. 1 overall draft pick, the Carolina Panthers gave another sign that they will go for a QB in the draft as they traded away Sam Darnold. He signed a one-year contract with the 49ers and will probably fight for a place on the roster with Trey Lance and Brock Purdy.

Jameis Winston, Saints

After hiring Derek Carr, the New Orleans Saints signalled that they will let Andy Dalton go by re-signing Jameis Winston. The player and the team agreed on a one-year $8 million extension. Taysom Hill should keep his “do-it-all” role, being also a QB in some snaps, and Winston will probably be QB2.

Taylor Heinicke, Falcons

After releasing Marcus Mariots, it seems like the Atlanta Falcons will bet on Taylor Heinicke as their new QB for the next season. It also seems that the Commanders will be shopping or drafting a QB soon as they released Carson Wentz a couple weeks ago and as of now, they don’t have a quarterback.
