NFL Receiving Yards Leaders: Tyreek Hill is on top but Justin Jefferson closed the gap in Week 10. Read the news and notes for this market.
Tyreek Hill of the Miami Dolphins remains the leader in the NFL for receiving yards heading into Week 11. He did not have a good week statistically for Miami last week with just 44 yards. Accordingly, the race to lead the NFL in receiving yards is looking a little tighter. Here’s a look at the leaders followed by the betting favorites.
Hill and Waddle play for the Miami Dolphins. They will be on a bye week in Week 11, meaning that the “games remaining” will level out.
Justin Jefferson was the leader for Week 10. He had a monster game against the Buffalo Bills, one that included a sensational catch in a clutch situation. Jefferson’s 193 yards for the week really closed the gap on Hill.
Cooper Kupp’s chances of leading the NFL in receiving yards are not very good. Readers will note he’s among the top five statistically above, however, he is not among the top-five favorites. Kupp suffered a high ankle sprain in Week 10 and the injury “doesn’t sound good,” Adam Schefter of ESPN.com reports. Given the deficit that Kupp is facing and the fact that multiple players are ahead of him if Kupp misses just one game, he’s very unlikely to win the receiving yards race.
