NFL Headlines: Injury Updates for Week 2’s NFL Games

Justin Simmons of the Denver Broncos is out with a thigh injury. Jeff Legwold headlined for ESPN on Wednesday evening “Denver Broncos place star safety Justin Simmons on injured reserve with thigh injury” (September 14th, 2022). The meat of the news is that Simmons will miss a minimum of four games.

Another headline from ESPN has to do with the Thursday night contest. “Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker, Los Angeles Chargers receiver Keenan Allen ruled out” comes from Adam Teicher. The meat of this article is that Butker has an injured ankle and wide receiver Allen, among others, is also out.
