The Miami Dolphins’ offense is probably the fastest in the league. At least in the wide receiver position, this is not even open for discussion. After playing last season with Tyrek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, they added Braxton Berríos to the roster. And now, to make sure they will have speed no matter who plays, the Dolphins are signing WR Chosen Anderson.

Anderson, 29, previously known as Robbie Anderson before changing his name, agreed on a one-year contract with Miami, as per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport. He announced his future to a group of people by holding up a Tua Tagovailoa Dolphins jersey.

After spending last season in the Carolina Panthers and Arizona Cardinals, he is coming back to the AFC East as his first career team was the New York Jets. He spent four seasons in NY (2016-2019) before moving to the Panthers in 2020. In the 2022 season, he played six games in Carolina and the last 10 with the Cardinals.

In 2020, his first season with the Panthers, Anderson had his best season with 95 catches (career high), 1,096 yards career-high), and three touchdowns. Will he get more snaps this season and help the Dolphins to go to the playoffs again?

Chosen Anderson

The wide receiver is going to his eighth season in the NFL, after entering the league in 2016 as an undrafted free agent out of Temple University. He has played in 111 games throughout the first seven years of his career, recording 375 receptions in 672 targets. Also, he sums up 4,956 yards and 19 touchdowns. On the other hand, splitting between two teams, he had only one TD last season.

To exemplify his threat at deep routes, here is his longest career TD. It was in this connection between him and Sam Darnold, for the New York Jets Jets, in 2019, versus the Dallas Cowboys for 92 yards.
