Derrick Henry made headlines in Week 8. The running back for the Tennessee Titans is back in the mix for most rushing yards for the season. He had 219 in Week 8 against the Houston Texans.

Henry is active for Week 9

The success on the field did not come without a bit of a scare. Early in the week, Henry was on his team’s injury report with a foot problem. However, he was upgraded to a full participant at the end of Friday’s practice. That’s definitely good news for those that are hoping for a Tennessee win in Week 9.

NFL fans will remember that it was this time last season when Henry suffered a foot injury that almost ended his season. He was out for several weeks and returned late in the campaign before Tennessee lost in the playoffs.

Ryan Tannehill is questionable

However, Tennessee’s Ryan Tannehill remains questionable according to the same injury report. Tannehill missed last week’s game and he still has an ankle problem.

The Titans will face the Kansas Chiefs and can’t expect to win without their best players performing well. The Chiefs’ side of the injury report is pretty relaxed. Of the several players that KC listed on the report, only Jody Fortson was out following Friday’s practice. The other players named on the report were all full participants. The Chiefs are -12.5 favorites in the game (bet365), one that KC will host.
