The NFL is into its offseason following last weekend's Super Bowl victory for the Kansas City Chiefs over the Philadelphia Eagles. The recent news in the NFL these days typically has to do with personnel changing places. Not long ago, Eric Bieniemy signed with the Washington Commanders, moving away from the Chiefs. Denver Broncos: Season Recap for 2022/23

The Denver Broncos are coming off of an incredibly disappointing season. The Broncos missed the playoffs, in fact, they didn't really even contend for a spot, going just 5-12 and finishing last in the AFC West. After signing Russell Wilson ahead of the start of last season, a lot more was expected out of Denver. Perhaps the early-week loss to Seattle, Wilson's former team, set the tone that things weren't going to go right in 2022/23.

Nathaniel Hackett, Denver's coach at the start of last season, was among the coaching casualties in the 2022/23 NFL season. He has moved over to the New York Jets where he is the offensive coordinator now.

The Broncos are clearly a team that is not content with staying at the bottom of the league. They have Wilson in place as his contract goes through the 2028 season, with some options in play beforehand. The team's current head coach is Sean Payton, who won a Super Bowl with the New Orleans Saints years ago.

Denver's betting odds to win AFC in 2023/24

The developing changes in Denver still have not made a serious impact on the perception of the team. They are out at 16 to 1 to win the AFC title next season with Unibet sportsbook. Those odds make them the 8th favorite in the conference, comparable to Jacksonville and Cleveland.
