In a memorable game, the Dallas Cowboys defeated the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 31-14. The game could be noted as the final game of quarterback Tom Brady. His future in the NFL is not clear at this point.

Additionally, the game will be remembered for the Dallas Cowboys breaking a road-game playoff slump. They had not won on the road in the postseason since the early 1990s.

The game will also be remembered for four missed point-after attempts from placekicker, Brett Maher. It will go down as one of the worst place-kicking performances in the history of the NFL playoffs. Lastly, the game took a turn for the worse when Russell Gage suffered an injury in a late play and was required to be carted off of the field.
