Chiefs vs Eagles: NFL Super Bowl injury report

Where to find the official injury report online for the Super Bowl. Mecole Hardman is out for the game, the most significant recent update.

The Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles will meet in Super Bowl LVII (2023 Super Bowl) this upcoming weekend, on Sunday, February 12th, 2023. The Eagles are -1.5 (Unibet) on the spread for the game as they prepare to face the Chiefs.

The official injury report for the game can be found at the following link: injury report for the Super Bowl. However, in this non-standard week, it's probably a better idea to just go by the depth charts for the teams at ESPN. We recommend using KC's depth chart and Philadelphia's depth chart with that site as they are more likely to reflect recent news. The injury report can be accessed after team practices, which are usually Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.

Patrick Mahomes: FP on last Friday after practice

  • DNP: did not participate in practice
  • LP: limited participant in practice
  • FP: full participant in practice

The injury report listed with the teams' sites had Patrick Mahomes, the quarterback for Kansas City, on it. He carried an ankle injury into the conference finals last week and persevered through it. He was FP on the official injury report for the most recent practices. That means he was a full participant. Accordingly, no one should bet against KC on the basis of Mahomes' recent ankle problems as they will likely be minimal when the Super Bowl is played.

Mecole Hardman, as of Monday, is the big news for injuries. He was on the injury report as doubtful due to a pelvis injury. He was DNP in the three practices that were reported on for last week. According to recent news, Hardman will miss Super Bowl LVII (ESPN's Adam Teicher).

Philadelphia lists thirteen players on their half of the report

Meanwhile, Philadelphia had thirteen players listed on their half of the report. However, most of them were listed for purposes of rest. They look like they are in pretty good shape heading into the game, according to their depth chart. Philly has the better half of the report as the teams enter the final week of practice for the 2022/23 NFL season.
