While some teams would kill and die for the opportunity to have a top 5 pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, other teams are not this desperate. In fact, one of them, the Arizona Cardinals, already has a top 5 pick. But the Cardinals are reportedly shopping their third-overall pick.

After locking a five-year deal with quarterback Kyle Murray, Arizona is not one of the many teams in the league trying to draft a QB. Because of that, they are willing to take advantage of this situation and do what the Chicago Bears did: trade down in the Draft.

According to NFL Network’s analyst Daniel Jeremiah, two teams are reportedly interested in trading up and getting the no. 3 overall pick. One is the Las Vegas Raiders and the other one is the Tennessee Titans.

“Can I give you the team that I have been told to keep an eye on that’s exploring this and looking into this? This is just people around the league who said do not sleep on Numero 11. The Tennessee Titans. The two teams to keep an eye on with the trade-ups were the (Las Vegas) Raiders and the Titans,” said Jeremiah during the Move the Sticks podcast.

Tennessee Titans

Currently, the Titans have Ryan Tannehill as their quarterback. His contract is valid for another year but he is a veteran QB who lost a lot of games last season because of injuries. Maybe it is time to renew the QB depth chart for them with a younger player. They could use a third-overall pick to draft a top quarterback.

Las Vegas Raiders

They signed two quarterbacks already this offseason. But even with Jimmy Garoppolo and Brian Hoyer, the Raiders reportedly met with Will Levis, one of the top prospects in the QB position available in the next draft. Going up on the draft could mean a new era in LV after Derek Carr’s departure.
