A few weeks ago we brought here some news about the NFL Draft picks. When these lines opened, right after the end of the season, Bryce Young was favoured to be the no. 1 overall pick. After the combine, the Panthers trading for the first pick and another things, C.J. Stroud became the favourite. But now Bryce Young is back to being favourite.

Young and Stroud are in this back-and-forth battle in the bookies. Let’s meet them a little bit more and understand the best attributes of each one. Of course the fluctuation in the market is partially explained by the change in the no. 1 overall pick but maybe it is not just that.

Bryce Young is a very talented quarterback coming from Alabama University. He had a great career in college. In 2021 he earned the Heisman Trophy after throwing 4,872 yards, 47 touchdowns and only seven interceptions. In 2022 his production decreased a little bit but was still good, with 3,328 yards, 32 TDs and five INTs.

C.J. Stroud on the other hand is also very reliable and helped Ohio State to have a great season, even with a not-that-good team. Much of that was only possible because of the quarterback, who also had a great career in college. In 2021 he had 4,435 yards, 44 touchdowns and six interceptions, and in 2022 it was fewer yards (3,688) but still 41 TDs and only six INTs again.
