After beating the Lions and the Argonauts, respectively, Winnipeg and Montreal will decide the CFL

Last week we brought here a preview of the CFL Conference Finals games. Four teams were battling for a spot in the big final. And after two great games, the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and the Montreal Alouettes are set to play in the 110th Grey Cup, deciding the big champions of the season. See how both teams won the Conference Finals.
Montreal Alouettes 38-17 Toronto Argonauts
The first game taking place on Saturday was the Eastern Final. Playing on the road against the best team of the league, Montreal surprised the CFL world with a huge and surprisingly easy win. But it was only “easy” because of their defense. The Argonauts simply turned over the ball seven times in the game. It was one fumble, two turnovers on downs and four interceptions, including two Pick-6s.
Meanwhile, the Alouettes offense only turned the ball over once, in an interception. And the special teams also joined the party. KR James Letcher scored a 105-yard kickoff return touchdown. Three of Montreal’s five TDs in the game were not scored by the offense. Now they are back to the Grey Cup after 13 years. See the best individual numbers of the game:

BC Lions 13-24 Winnipeg Blue Bombers
At the Western Conference Final, no surprises. The favorites Blue Bombers, playing at home, beat the Lions with no big complications and are back to the Grey Cup for the fourth consecutive time. In the other three opportunities, they won two and lost one, last season. But this time they are the big favorites in the final as the Argonauts were eliminated.
After conceding the first three points in this game, Winnipeg opened an 18-3 lead before halftime. But with an incredible hail-mary, the Lions scored a touchdown in the last play of the first half, and the game went to the break with 18-10 on the board. In the second half, three field goals closed the game with a comfortable win for the Blue Bombers. See the best performances of the game:
