The Chicago Bears will be in Texas to face the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday in the morning set. The Bears are 3-4 and are fresh off of a win on Monday night where they stomped the New England Patriots 33-14.

The result on Monday came as a surprise to many. However, the Bears did enter the game in great shape: they reported no injuries on the injury report leading up to the game (players on the injury reserve are separate)

The Cowboys and Bears have updated their injury report following Thursday’s practice. As one might expect, the Bears are the ones who look in better shape heading into the game.

Dallas Cowboys injury report has Ezekiel Elliott on it

Ezekiel Elliott is among a number of Cowboys on the injury report for Dallas. The running back has a knee injury. He did not participate in practice on either Wednesday or Thursday. His status is questionable for Sunday, along with three other starters on Dallas’ offense. Of the thirteen players on Dallas’ side of the injury report, only five were full participants in practice on Thursday.

Elliott’s playing status should be on the radar for those thinking of backing Dallas. He is a well-used player on the Cowboys. However, the Cowboys do have one of the better backup running backs in the NFL, Tony Pollard. That said, Pollard has had some weak games this season.

Chicago Bears are in relatively good shape

The Bears only listed three players on the injury report, Larry Borom, Lucas Patrick, and Armon Watts. The latter is there for “personal” reasons, leaving only two players with physical limitations. Borom is the starting right tackle and he is questionable for Sunday. However, no team is going to be in perfect shape in Week 8. The Bears are about as fit to play as anyone can expect at this stage of the season.
