As the offseason advances in the league, some teams are now kicking off their Organized Team Activities

The offseason in the NFL is approaching its final important dates. Before the training camps start, in June, the teams can opt to have the OTAs (Organized Team Activities), which is basically a series of meetings and physical activities. It is an optional part of the offseason and 20 NFL teams are starting their OTAs today.
Here is a list of the 20 NFL teams starting their Organized Team Activities (OTAs) this Monday:

Although every team in the league will reportedly have their OTAs at some point during the offseason, some will have them later in the calendar. Nine teams will start their Organized Team Activities tomorrow and three will do it only in June. Check out the OTA dates for each of the remainder 12 teams not listed above.

Organized Team Activities
The OTAs, are designed to provide players with structured training, instruction, and physical conditioning before the beginning of training camps. It consists of three distinct phases. See a little bit more about each phase.
- Phase one: spanning the initial two weeks, primarily involves meetings, strength and conditioning exercises, as well as physical rehabilitation for players.
- Phase two: covers the subsequent three weeks, players take to the field for various drills, although direct contact is not permitted at this stage.
- Phase three: spans four weeks, during which teams engage in a total of 10 OTA days. While live contact remains prohibited, drills involving 7v7, 9v9, and 11v11 scenarios are allowed.
