We are down to four teams

After the NBA Playoffs Weekend, we met the other three Conference Finalists and the NBA Finals are close

The NBA Playoffs brought three more games for basketball fans over the past weekend. After the Denver Nuggets qualified for the Conference Finals on Thursday, we had another two making it to the finals on Friday and the last one on Sunday. Now we are down to four teams and during the next week, we will meet the last two on the NBA Finals. Check out the recap of the three games deciding the last three teams qualified.

New York Knicks 92-96 Miami Heat (MIA wins 4-2)

One of the most improbable teams to make it to the Conference Finals did it. The Miami Heat finished the regular season only with the #8 seed in the East. After losing their first Play-In game against the Atlanta Hawks, they had to beat the Chicago Bulls in the second Play-In match.

After qualifying, they faced the best team in the league in the First Round, the Milwaukee Bucks. They won 4-2. After that, they faced the New York Knicks in the Conference Semifinals. And after last Friday’s game, they also won 4-2 and are now in the Conference Finals. Game 6 was not very exciting, but Miami won. Check out the best performances of the game.

Golden State Warriors 101-122 Los Angeles Lakers (LAL wins 4-2)

Both teams had a terrible start of season. During most of the regular season, they appeared out of the Play-In zone, constantly in the #12 and #13 seeds. However, both managed to win a lot of important games in the end and both qualified for the Playoffs. The Lakers still had to go through the Play-In Tournament.

Now the defendant champions are eliminated after Game 6 of the Conference Semifinals. The Lakers won the series by 4-2 and will now face the best team in the West during the regular season, the Denver Nuggets. Check out the best performances of this game, another blowout in this series.

Philadelphia 76ers 88-113 Boston Celtics (BOS wins 4-3)

On Sunday we had the last team qualifying to the Conference Finals. The Boston Celtics beat the Philadelphia 76ers on Game 7 (the only series having a Game 7) and advanced. It was another poor performance from Philly, especially in the third quarter, when they scored only 10 points in 12 minutes.

In the end, the Celtics proved themselves as the best remaining team in the league. Jayson Tatum had another outstanding performance and helped the Celtics to make it to the Conference Finals after a difficult series.
