NBA

The defendant champions in the NBA, the Golden State Warriors, had a terrible season start in 2022-23. After losing a lot of games, they spent a lot of weeks out of the playoffs zone. Even out of the play-in zone. But after a lot of victories, they came back in the season and now the Warriors beat the Pelicans and climb up to the #6 seed.

With that, they are now not only going to the postseason but also to the playoffs. If the season finished today, they would face #3 seed Sacramento Kings. They are winning games at the most important time of the season, the end. As they say, it doesn’t matter your position in the first game, in the third game or in the 80th game. It only matters where you stand in the last one.

Yesterday’s victory against the Pelicans was huge as New Orleans had a sequence of five wins. And they had to overcome a disadvantage of 17 points at halftime. After going to the locker room losing 63-46, they came back in the second half and won 120-109. Stephen Curry scored 39 points, eight rebounds and eight assists, having the best individual performance.
