The Miami Dolphins lost their third straight game to fall to 3-3 on the season. In Week 6, the Minnesota Vikings defeated the Dolphins 24-16. However, Tyreek Hill, Miami’s top receiver, continues to shine for the Dolphins. There has to be some hope that QB1 Tua Tagovailoa will return to this team and return the Dolphins to their winning ways.
Hill led all NFL receivers in Week 6 through Sunday with 177 passing yards. There is still the Monday night game to be played and it includes wide receiver Courtland Sutton of the Denver Broncos. But Sutton would need to receive for almost 300 yards to overtake Hill, making the Dolphins’ WR1 the presumptive league leader post-Week 6.
Hill had 12 receptions on 15 targets for the Dolphins and he had 9 first downs in the loss to the Vikings. He now has 701 passing yards on the season. Hill entered Week 6 third in the NFL in receiving yards. However, he will overtake both Justin Jefferson and Cooper Kupp in the receiving yards race. That will place him atop the leaders’ board provided nothing fluky happens in the Monday night game.
The other receiving yards leaders in Week 6 were as follows:
Hill was featured as a betting tip of ours early in the NFL season. Back on September 27th, Hill was our 9-to-1 recommendation to lead the NFL in receiving yards this season.
