After a break on Monday, the league holds a 13-game slate this Tuesday as we approach the end of the season
After a short break yesterday (3), the NBA is back tonight (4) with a loaded 13-game slate. Just like last Friday and last Sunday, only four teams are not playing tonight. Among the games, we have a lot of great matchups such as #2 vs. #3 in the East and first against last in the West. Let’s see the NBA Tuesday preview with a lot of playoff implications.
Starting our preview we have the Milwaukee Bucks trying to clinch the #1 seed in the East. All they have to do for that to happen is win this game versus the eliminated Washington Wizards and hope the Celtics lose versus the 76ers. On the side they can control, they are favourites to win this game by 13 points.
The Brooklyn Nets host the Minnesota Timberwolves tonight as they try to clinch the last playoff spot in the East. If they win and the Miami Heat lose, they will be very close to that. However, the visitors also want themselves a spot in the playoffs in the West and can’t afford a loss in this game. Even playing on the road and coming from three straight losses, the Wolves are favourites by 2 points.
The #2 in the East Boston Celtics are the only ones who can take the #1 seed from the Milwaukee Bucks. However, they visit the #3 Philadelphia 76ers tonight as the home team wants to take the #2 seed from Boston. In this cycle of win-needs, the 76ers are the favourite tonight by 2 points. And Joel Embiid is also trying to confirm the scoring title and the MVP trophy.
Closing our preview we have the Phoenix Suns hosting one of the worst teams in the league, the San Antonio Spurs. The Suns are coming from a five-win streak and need another one to confirm their spot in the playoffs. Because of that they are super favourites tonight, with a spread of 19 points.
