Suns aiming for 3-win streak

After starting the series trailing by 0-2, Phoenix tied with two home games and are trying to win on the road

The Denver Nuggets won Games 1 and 2 in the series versus the Phoenix Suns, both games at home, and appeared to be on their way to sweeping the series and having an easy ticket to Conference Finals. But the Suns took advantage of their home advantage, won Games 3 and 4, tied the series and are now aiming for a 3-win streak.

Nikola Jokić has been the name of the series on the Nuggets’ side. He scored at least a double-double in every game, plus a triple-double in Game 3. With 24, 39, 30 and 53, the Serbian also had 146 total points in the first 4 games of the series. He also had 56 rebounds (19, 16, 17 and 4) and 38 assists (5, 5, 17 and 11).

On the Suns’ side, Devin Booker and Kevin Durant have shared the protagonism. Booker has 145 points (27, 35, 47 and 36), 21 rebounds (4, 5, 6 and 6) and 35 assists (8, 6, 9 and 12) so far in the first four games of the series. Durant had 128 points (29, 24, 39 and 36), 42 rebounds (14, 8, 9 and 11) and 18 assists (1, 3, 8 and 6).

Injury Report

While the Denver Nuggets are free of injuries for this game, Phoenix Suns’ Chris Paul appears as the only problem in this game’s injury report. He is dealing with a groin injury and is out of tonight’s matchup.
