NBA teams have reported some important injury news of late. For starters, Memphis indicated that they will be without Steven Adams for at least a few weeks. Their starting center has a knee injury that will take some time to heal.
Bobby Portis of the Milwaukee Bucks also has an injured knee. Portis doesn’t start, however, he is one of the team’s key reserve players. ESPN reported on the injury on Wednesday.

There are some players that are expected to return to action soon. Anthony Davis has not contested a game since December 16th, 2022. However, NBA.com reported that he is expected to return to action on Wednesday. Brandon Ingram, who has not played since November 25th, is also expected back in action for the New Orleans Pelicans.

In other news, the Phoenix Suns are on the auction block. They have been a franchise in turmoil following the preseason reports/allegations that their owner, Robert Sarver, was central to problems with workplace conduct with the Suns. In the months that have gone by since those reports, the Suns have struggled on the court and are a very mediocre team here in late January.
