You do have to wonder what will become of this team if they lose a home game early in a playoff series this season.

The Charlotte Hornets, one of the worst teams in the NBA, hosted the Denver Nuggets on Saturday night. In this case, the Nuggets won on the road in a contest that was not close at the final buzzer. They put up a double-digit spread in the game, winning by 14 points. The final score was Denver 119, and Charlotte 105 as Denver improved to 13-14 as a road team.

Mark Williams and Nick Richards are splitting Plumlee’s minutes now but neither can offer what Charlotte’s former center did.

On Wednesday, Denver hosts Dallas, a game that could be difficult as well if the Mavericks get Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving playing smoothly together.
