Meanwhile, the Nuggets improved to 42-18 with the 6-point victory. They had the best performer overall in the game as Nikola Jokic had a triple-double for points, rebounds, and assists at 24, 13, and 18. His team has been one of the hottest in the NBA for more than two months.

They have just eight losses since December 7th and they appear to be zeroing in on more than just a divisional title. The Nuggets have a healthy lead over Memphis for the top seed in the west following the action on Thursday night.
