Denver fell short in Toronto against the Raptors and are having one of their worst moments in the season
The Denver Nuggets lost their fourth game in a row last night (14) as they fell short 125-110 versus the Toronto Raptors. And believe it or not, Nikola Jokić didn’t score a triple-double. Not even a double-double. Actually, he finished the game with 28 points, eight rebounds and seven assists.
But the Nuggets, just like their star, weren’t on a good night. To start off the game they lost the first quarter 49-30. Almost 20 points already. And by halftime, they were down 72-56. In the third period they almost came back but ended up losing the last quarter as well and now are only four games in front of the Grizzlies.
Fred VanVleet finished the game as the top scorer as he recorded 36 points in the night. Jakob Pöltl had a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds. With the Win, Toronto ended a sequence of three losses and climbed up a little bit the table.
