Denver fell at home versus the Bulls, lost its 20th game in the season but remains on top of the West
Last night in the NBA marked the 20th loss of the Denver Nuggets in this NBA season. Now, only the Milwaukee Bucks, with 18, have less than 20 losses. Also, the Nuggets lost a four-win streak as they fell short 117-96 to the Chicago Bulls, playing at home.
The game was a close call until halftime, with the teams going back to the locker room with the scoreboard showing 52-51 in favour of the home team. But in the second half, the Bulls came back thirsty for a W and they got it. They won the last two periods of the game and closed the score 117-96, holding the Nuggets to under 100 points.
Besides that, Nikola Jokić didn’t get another triple-double. But he was close enough. The Serbian finished the game with 18 points, 12 rebounds and eight assists. Zach LaVine was the top scorer though, with 29 points for Chicago. And Nikola Vučević also got a double-double, with 25 points and 15 rebounds.
