NFL Receiving Yards Leaders Week 8 - Tyreek Hill

NFL Receiving Yards Leaders heading into Week 8. A couple of Cincinnati Bengals led Week 7 but Tyreek Hill is on top still.

Tyreek Hill is on top of the NFL Receiving Yards Leaders heading into Week 8. The wide receiver for the Miami Dolphins has had no less than three quarterbacks that he has had to work with this season. However, he has barely missed a beat, and his 773 receiving yards this season make him tops in the league.

Year-to-date totals do have to be taken lightly at this time of the season. Some players have more games remaining in their schedules than others because of where the bye weeks fall. Due to that, when we list the receiving yards totals below we include how many games there are remaining in the season. The betting favorites will follow.

Top Five Receiving Yards Leaders heading into Week 8

  1. Tyreek Hill: 773 yards (10 games remaining)
  2. Stefon Diggs: 656 yards (11 games remaining)
  3. Justin Jefferson: 654 yards (11 games remaining)
  4. Jaylen Waddle: 621 yards (10 games remaining)
  5. Cooper Kupp: 607 yards (11 games remaining)

Betting favorites to receive most yards heading into Week 8

  1. Tyreek Hill 9/2 (+450)
  2. Justin Jefferson 9/2 (+450)
  3. Stefon Diggs 6/1 (+600)
  4. Cooper Kupp 8/1 (+800)
  5. Ja'Marr Chase 11/1 (+1100)

When you consider the game at hand that Diggs, Jefferson, and Kupp have over both Hill and Waddle, then it truly is a tight race. The two receivers for Miami didn't have a great week last week, catching for 88 and 72 yards respectively.

The receiving leaders when Week 7 is looked at in isolation were both with the Cincinnati Bengals. Joe Burrow had a monster week, passing for 481 yards. His wide receivers Tyler Boyd and Chase had 155 yards and 130 yards respectively. Boyd's season total is just 455 yards and he is well out of the receiving yards race at this stage.
