NFL power rankings heading into Week 14. The Miami Dolphins crash down our rankings as the Philadelphia Eagles regain control.
The Philadelphia Eagles make a return to the top of our NFL power rankings heading into Week 14. They were on top a few weeks ago for a one-week stay but then they lost to the Washington Commanders. Now with an 11-1 record, they are a clear choice for the top spot following a week that saw the Miami Dolphins and Kansas City Chiefs both lose.
The Miami Dolphins had a rankings crash with their Week 13 result. They fell to the San Francisco 49ers 33-17 in what was a one-sided contest. Miami fared poorly in the game despite having a look at San Fran’s third-string quarterback for the bulk of the game. If the Dolphins were able to stay close to the 49ers in the game, then perhaps a Top Five ranking would still be in order. However, the Dolphins need to reprove themselves once again.
The Thursday night game this week won’t be a showstopper. It will feature the Las Vegas Raiders against the LA Rams. At least with Vegas, they can still entertain some hopes of making the playoffs as they look for their fourth straight win.
The only game this upcoming week that will involve top teams that are both ranked in our top ten will be between the New York Giants and the Philadelphia Eagles. The Giants will host the game and they are +7.0 underdogs early in the week with bet365.
Both the Ravens and the Vikings enter the week as underdogs. Baltimore is +3.0 as they travel to face Pittsburgh. Meanwhile, the Vikings are +1.0 as they face the resilient Detroit Lions.
