Cincinnati as the No. 5 team?

You have to wonder what Dan Hanzus at NFL.com is thinking. Cincinnati at No. 5 is very generous to the 4-3 team. The Cincinnati victory over Atlanta in Week 7 was a one-sided affair, however, the Bengals at 5th still places little value on their three losses this season.

The New York Giants are underrated in the three other publications. We have them at No. 3 with their 6-1 record in the NFL.

The next game in the league will come on Thursday night. The Baltimore Ravens will face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in an important game for both teams. The Ravens are 4-3 and need a win over a struggling TB team. Meanwhile, Tom Brady and all are in danger of missing the playoffs. These are two teams that have spent time in the top ten for the various power rankings publications at varying points in the current NFL season.
