With a 10-game slate, the NBA resumes tonight with a lot of teams trying to clinch a playoff berth
The NBA is getting closer and closer to the regular season’s end. With only two weeks lefts in the league, a record of 20 teams are still alive in the playoff contention, plus the six teams already confirmed. Tonight we have a 10-game slate with a lot of teams trying to clinch their spots such as the Kings and Suns in the West and the Nets and Knicks in the East. It is time for the NBA Wednesday preview brought to you by ThePicks.
Kicking off our NBA Wednesday preview we have the Brooklyn Nets trying to clinch a playoff spot ASAP. Currently, they have a 97% of chance to do so but they need to come back to the W column. Tonight’s opponents are one of the worst teams in the league, so the Nets are favourites by 10.5 points.
The New York Knicks are also trying to clinch their spot in the playoffs as they have 99% chances to do so. But tonight’s opponents are also trying to get a playoff spot as they are currently the #7 seed in the East. Coming from a victory and facing a team coming from two losses, the Knicks are favourites by 5 points.
Going to the West, the Phoenix Suns host the Minnesota Timberwolves as both teams want to clinch their playoff spot ASAP. Coming from two wins, the Suns have a 98% chance of qualifying, while the Wolves, coming from four wins, have 87%. The Suns are the favourites by 5 points tonight.
Closing our preview we have another team almost in the playoffs. The Sacramento Kings have more than a 99% of chance to clinch their spot, and a victory tonight could be enough to confirm that. Playing versus the #13 seed in the West without their best player. Because of that the Kings are favourites by 14 points.
