Tonight we have an 11-game slate for the fans, after only five games yesterday. This will be our regular NBA Friday preview. Among the attractions, the Mavericks need to win or they are out (and in this case the Thunder clinch the play-in spot). The Nets need to win to clinch the playoff spot. Opening our NBA Friday preview we have the Miami Heat trying to stay alive in the fight for the last playoff spot in the East. They must win and the Brooklyn Nets have to lose. And on the side they can control, they are favourites by 4.5 points in tonight’s game versus the Washington Wizards.

The Brooklyn Nets on the other hand have to win tonight to end the conversation. If that happens, the worst-case scenario would have the Heat and Nets tied at the end and Brooklyn has the advantage. So, they are not only the favourites to win the game tonight by 11 points but also to clinch their spot.

Because of the “must-win” factor, the Mavs are the favourites by 9 points.
