NBA Power Rankings (Oct. 30th) – Milwaukee Bucks

The Milwaukee Bucks, the only undefeated team in the NBA, is the top team in our weekly NBA power rankings. The Bucks are 5-0 on the season and they have a point differential of +10.4 on average per game.

The only criticism of Milwaukee at this point is that they’ve played a home-heavy schedule. They do have a tricky road game this week at Minnesota so we’ll see if the Bucks are undefeated at this time next week. For now, here are our Top Ten NBA Power Rankings following the games that were played on October 30th, 2022.

8. Atlanta Hawks: 4-2 (new entrant)
9. San Antonio Spurs: 5-2 (new entrant)
10. Denver Nuggets: 4-3 (-4)

The LA Clippers, the Golden State Warriors, and the Dallas Mavericks are the three teams that we moved out of our Top Ten for the time being. The Clippers and Warriors remain betting favorites, as noted below. However, basketball punters will want to see some life out of them being taking their odds. The Cleveland Cavaliers, the Atlanta Hawks, and the San Antonio Spurs are the teams we selected to replace the three teams we moved out.

These are the current top five favorites to win the NBA title this season (late October 30th, 2022). It’s always interesting to compare and contrast power rankings with betting odds in futures markets. It’s one method for trying to find betting value. In this case, the top two teams in our power ranking are the top two favorites.
