The Milwaukee Bucks were our top-ranked team last week and they won all of their games this week. Accordingly, they remain the top-ranked team in our Top Ten NBA Power Rankings.

Winners of ten straight, the Bucks have finally gotten back to the form that they had in the early season when they won nine in a row to open the campaign. They are looking very dangerous as the teams head toward the All-Star break in the association.

Top Ten NBA Power Rankings: 17th Edition

You can check out last week's power rankings here: previous edition.

  1. Milwaukee Bucks: 39-17 (no change)
  2. Boston Celtics: 41-16 (+1)
  3. Philadelphia 76ers: 36-19 (-1)
  4. Cleveland Cavaliers: 37-22 (+1)
  5. Denver Nuggets: 39-18 (-1)
  6. Miami Heat: 32-25 (new entrant)
  7. Memphis Grizzlies: 34-22 (no change)
  8. Phoenix Suns: 31-27 (+1)
  9. Sacramento Kings: 32-24 (-1)
  10. Dallas Mavericks: 31-27 (new entry)

The teams that we dropped out of our top ten were the Brooklyn Nets and the Minnesota Timberwolves. With the Nets, you could argue that they belong in the top ten still based on their overall record. However, they have hit a cold patch and, of course, all the roster changes have something to do with that. Meanwhile, Minnesota was a shaky addition to our top ten last week but went 1-2 this week amidst their own roster changes. That has seen them drop out of our Top Ten as well.

Big Games Upcoming: Which Top Teams Play One Another?

There isn't a lot going on this week in the NBA Schedule. The All-Star break is coming up soon with Team Giannis playing Team LeBron next Sunday. The NBA will halt regular-season games after a three-game set on Thursday.

When it comes to big games this week, Miami plays Denver tonight. Milwaukee and Boston will play on Tuesday in a No. 1 versus No. 2 matchup. Phoenix and Sacramento will play on the same day while Philadelphia and Cleveland will face one another on Wednesday.
