The NBA regular season is over, which means the Playoff and Play-In tournament are defined. After roughly six months and 82 games for each team, the league gets to its most exciting time: the postseason. Today we don’t have the playoff Picture anymore. It is time to check out the bracket for both conferences.
In the East, things were defined earlier than in the West. It’s been a while since we had five teams already eliminated and the Season Finale weekend only decided the last team going directly to the playoffs. The Brooklyn Nets clinched the last spot and sent the Miami Heat to the Play-In tournament.
The Play-In tournament starts tomorrow (11) and the Playoffs are scheduled for April 15. Check out the final standings in the East and who qualified for which stage of the postseason in the conference having the best and the worst team of the season in the whole league.
Here things were tighter. Entering the last weekend of the league we still had seven teams fighting for something. On Friday (7), we had the fifth team knocked out, which means that Saturday and Sunday only defined who we going to the Playoffs or to the Play-In Tournament.
In the end, the Los Angeles Clippers and the Golden State Warriors clinched the last two spots in the playoff zone. The Lakers, Timberwolves, Pelicans and Thunder are going to the Play-In. And after being the #15 seed during almost all season, the Rockets didn’t finish in the last position. Check out the outcome in the West.
