Another six great games with a lot of action on today’s slate; playoff and play-in implications
After six games yesterday (9), it’s time for another six great matchups tonight (10). With playoff and play-in implications, ThePicks shows now what’s better on today’s slate. Check out the odds and what to expect from the games. It’s time for NBA Friday preview!
The first game of the night is the matchup between East’s second place versus West’s 13th. The Philadelphia 76ers won their last three games and now want the fourth straight victory playing at home. But the Blazers want to overcome a loss in the last game. The 76ers are favourites tonight by 9.5 points.
The Denver Nuggets lost their 20th game in the season last Tuesday, but they are still on top of the West. Playing on the road they want to come back to the W column and for that they have to beat one of the worst teams of the season, the Spurs. If they lose, San Antonio will become the third team to reach 50 losses this season. Of course the favourites are the Nuggets, by 12.5 points.
Closing the night a good game between teams on the middle of the table. While the Raptors fight for a play-in spot on the East, the Lakers do the same on the West. At this point of the season, both are in ninth in their respective conferences, but the Lakers won the last two games and the Raptors lost their two. However, even playing on the road, the Raptors are favourites by 2.5 points.
