The LA Lakers have suffered some frustrating losses recently. However, they got a big win on the road on Tuesday. The Lakers, who faced the New York Knicks, came away with an overtime victory that ended a two-game skid. The final score in the contest was LA 129, and New York 123 (OT).

With the loss, the Knicks are now 27-25 overall on the season. Despite the overall winning record, winning at home continues to be a problem for this team. They are just 12-14 when hosting this season.

The top scorer in the game was New York’s Jalen Brunson. He had an impressive 37 points in the contest but it wasn’t enough to counter the efforts out of LA’s LeBron James and Anthony Davis.

James and Davis both started the day as question marks to play. However, they both appeared in the game and they had 28 and 27 points respectively. James added another triple-double to his illustrious career in the outing. In addition to his 28 points, he had 10 rebounds and 11 assists.

The Lakers improved to 24-28 with the 6-point victory. They remain a team to keep a close eye on as the trade deadline nears.

The Lakers will stay on the road for the time being. Next, they will face the Indiana Pacers, a team that has struggled as badly as any team in recent weeks. These two teams are scheduled to meet on February 2nd. It’s possible that Tyrese Haliburton will return for this game, Pat Boylan of Bally Sports Indiana reported.
