Also up by 3-1 in the series, Los Angeles only need to win one more game to make it to the Conference Final
The second and last game of this NBA Playoffs night is Game 6 between Los Angeles Lakers and Golden State Warriors. And just like in the other series, we have a team facing the risk of elimination. That’s because the Lakers could advance with a win tonight as they are up 3-1.
And this is not the only similarity between the series being played tonight. Just like the Miami Heat, the Los Angeles Lakers won Game 1 and lost Game 2 playing on the road and got a W on both home games. Now they are back in San Francisco once again with the possibility of knocking out the defendant champions.
Meanwhile, the Warriors rely not only on another great performance from Stephen Curry, who had a rare triple-double last game but also a better game from the rest of the team. If they want to avoid elimination, at least for one more game, they have to play better and can’t lose again.
As it has been throughout all the games in this series, the Los Angeles Lakers have only two names in the injury report. LeBron James and Anthony Davis, both with foot injuries, are listed as probable for tonight’s game. On the Warriors’ side, Patrick Baldwin Jr. also remains the only problem and is listed as questionable, with a toe injury.
After a low-scoring Game 4, the over/under for Game 5 hasn’t changed much, which means that we could expect another great game, and is set at 225.5 points. Meanwhile, playing at home and needing desperately to win, the Warriors are the favourites by 6.5 points. Check out all of our predictions for this match.
